The “Havana Club” was purchased at a silent auction at the former Transit Lounge club in Miami, Florida for a non-profit called Arte Libre on July 1, 2010. The organization named “The Innovation Project” raised money for Cuban artist to purchase supplies in Cuba when artists could only send canvases not yet stretched to the United States at that time. It is currently the only still life style painting in this collection.
